We were excited to have a flurry of media activity over the past month as our collaboration with a media agency put the social impact of woodland social enterprise into the headlines. Research carried out on behalf of MLWW looked at the best way to settle in to a community. This showed a wealth of positive responses including responses to show that 17% of people wanting to get involved in a woodland social enterprise and 20% who think volunteering with a local community group is the best way to integrate into a new place.

We’ve collected some of the articles here which, combined, had a readership of well over 5 million people. We will be rolling out more coverage in next week so please do tweet, link and share this with your own networks to keep growing the profile of WSE’s.
